Provisional 2006 ICDA Official Roster of Distinguished Awards (August 2006)

The Provisional 2006 ICDA Roster of Distinguished Awards is a work in progress and comments, suggestions, and corrections are invited from any persons in the international awards community and also from beyond that community. Comments should be sent to ICDA@icda.org . The goal of ICDA is to expand upon its previously published Official Roster reports issued in 1999, 2001, and 2003 by creating an online presence for its noted Official Roster of Distinguished Awards. ICDA has established an active data base on awards listed in the Official Roster and will be issuing periodic reports and commentary on the evolution and development of distinguished awards worldwide. For more information on Criteria for the listing of awards on the Official Roster see ICDA Official Roster at www.icda.org .

2007 Conrad Hilton Humanitarian Prize The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation invites nominations for the 2007 Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize. It is seeking an organization that has made extraordinary contributions toward alleviating human suffering anywhere in the world.

The prize - now at $1.5 million - is the world's largest humanitarian award, and is presented annually to an established nonprofit, charitable, or non-governmental organization. The prize is not a grant, based on future goals, but an award for recent and historic accomplishments. An independent international panel of jurors makes the final selection. The 2006 award will be presented this fall and the 2007 prize will be announced in the fall of 2007. For additional information please go to www.hiltonfoundation.org.
